The State Social Protection Information System (SSPIS) includes the solutions of 47 tasks of public social services, interacts with 4 state systems and supplies information for the electronic government of the republic. The system implements 15 lCW of the Republic of Belarus, 17 orders, 2 decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus and 13 resolutions of the Council of Ministers.
SSPIS provides operation of the authorities for labor, employment and social protection of the Republic of Belarus in the following areas:
- pension support;
- state social support of the population in the form of the provision of child allowances;
- provision of marriage capital;
- state targeted public assistance;
- management of equipment for social rehabilitation;
- management of rooms in boarding homes;
- management of material assistance from the Social Protection Fund and for rehabilitation;
- public social services.
The system was developed using Delphi, Net Beans IDE, Java, JavaScript, SQL, PL\SQL languages and programming environments, as well as Apache Tomcat, Glassfish application servers.
SSPIS information is stored and processed in databases managed by Oracle DBMS.
Today, the system operates in 146 district and city departments for labor, employment and social protection, in 6 regional committees for labor, employment and social protection, in Minsk city executive committee and in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
SSPIS serves one third of the population of the republic: about 3 million 660 thousand citizens of the following categories: pensioners, children under 3 years of age, disabled and indigent people.
IT specialists of the organization constantly maintain the system and ensure its uninterrupted operation.
