With the use of modern developments in road construction technology and the world practice of road tolls, OAO “AGAT-SYSTEM” developed and implemented road toll stations (“Koldsovo” and “Krupki”) in 1999, and later in 2002. All road toll stations (RTS) are joined into a system that allows to perform effective control over the imposition of road tolls. All information on the origin of vehicles and charges is accumulated in computer system, road situation is continuously video recordedof that allows controlling the correctness of charging vehicle owners. Road toll system provides a possibility of making payments in various currencies, using plastic payment cards, cashless payments for foreign users, including using plastic cards by Evroshell, UTA, DKV, Routex, Aris etc.
Currently, the toll collection monitoring system is applied on the toll road Brest-Minsk-Western border of Russia (М1).
This road toll imposition control system (RTICS) is intended for:

ensuring road toll imposition and passing vehicles control;

automation of the process of cash and cashless payment for pass;

accounting of proceeds;

automated statistical data collection;

control over the activities of acting officials and others.
The system has a number of additional features:

video monitoring of each traffic lane with automatic photographing of each vehicle crossing the lane;

recognition of licence plate of each car;

introduction of the system of contactless payment without stopping the car, which significantly increases traffic capacity
